Glossary of Terms
Is a simple point and click interface that allows UGB members to manage their account. User Profile information such as name, email, zip code, school, cell phone number for text messages, and password updates are just some of the items in the Account Manager.
Allows UGB registered members to create a list of books needed for future courses. If you are registered for Email and/or Text Alert, you will be notified when someone has posted a textbook on UGB that is in your Book Queue.
If you decide to receive email and/or text alerts, UGB will notify you when someone has commented on your textbook for sale and requires a response. Simply follow the link attached to your text/email to read your message. This feature can be turned on and off from your account manager. The email and text alerts are also available for the Book Queue (Click on the book queue for more information).
When meeting to sell your book, and trading or paying with cash/check are not an option, the buyer can use a credit card to purchase the book.

How it works when using a credit card:
  1. Meet with your buyer
  2. Log in and choose the "My Register" button at the top
  3. Click on the book that you are selling and select the "Sell My Book" button
  4. Enter the price and click "Launch PayPal"
  5. If the price is correct click "Proceed to Checkout" and follow the simple instructions to complete the transaction
The Prelisting feature allows the seller to prelist a book by choosing a future “Availability Date”. This is crucial if the seller wishes to list early in order to gain exposure from potential buyers and guarantee the sale!
